Meet Drew Jamison
Hey everyone!
My name is Drew Jamison and I am your chiropractor here at Jamison Family Chiropractic, in Richmond, Virginia. I have been a chiropractic patient for over 20 years and the experience has changed the way in which I look at health. I am excited to share the information that I have learned over the years and offer my patients a natural healthcare solution. When I am not adjusting, you can find me with my wife Lauren, my family and friends, on my paddle board or mountain bike.

I was born and raised in New Castle, Delaware. I grew up playing sports and really started to focus on soccer in high school. I played at an elite high school, Salesianum, and went on to play for and eventually captain the Lynchburg College men’s soccer team. I received my undergraduate degree in exercise physiology from Lynchburg College in 2007. I then moved to Atlanta, GA to attend Life University and received my doctorate of chiropractic in 2011.
While at Life University, I was able to learn and improve my adjusting skills. In 2011, following graduation, I returned closer to home to associate in an office in Philadelphia as well as work with the professional soccer team there. While in Philadelphia, I advanced my education and became certified in the Graston Technique. In 2013, I returned to Virginia to associate in a group practice. As nice and as valuable as the experiences were, 2015 was the year for me to move forward and to start Jamison Family Chiropractic, in Richmond, Virginia.

Diversified Technique - this is a widely used manual technique used to restore proper joint movement and alignment in the spine and extremities. This technique aims to improve nervous system function and overall health. Diversified adjustments are tailored to the individual patient's needs, considering their condition, age, and other factors.
Drop Table Technique - the drop table technique is a gentle chiropractic method that utilizes a specialized table with sections that can be raised and then dropped slightly during an adjustment. The drop mechanism allows gravity to assist the adjustment, requiring less force from the chiropractor and potentially making the adjustment more comfortable for the patient. Drop table adjustments are tailored to the individual patient's needs, considering their condition, age, and other factors.
ArthroStim technique - the ArthroStim technique utilizes a handheld instrument that delivers a series of rapid, controlled, and gentle thrusts to the affected areas. This technique aims to stimulate neural receptors, provide precise adjustments, and offer a comfortable alternative to traditional manual adjustments, particularly for those with sensitivities or specific conditions. The ArthroStim technique adjustments are tailored to the individual patient's needs, considering their condition, age, and other factors.
Integrator Instrument - the Integrator chiropractic technique, often utilized in Torque Release Technique or MC2, is a method that uses a specialized instrument called the Integrator to deliver precise, gentle, and consistent adjustments to the spine. It is designed to address spinal misalignments (subluxations) and restore nervous system function with minimal force, making it suitable for patients of all ages. The adjustments are tailored to the individual patient's needs, considering their condition, age, and other factors.
The Sustained Contact Chiropractic Technique - this technique is a gentle, low-force method of adjusting the spine. The chiropractor applies light, sustained pressure using a fingertip contact to the specific vertebrae or joints that are misaligned or experiencing restricted movement. One of the benefits of the sustained contact technique is its suitability for individuals who may require a more delicate approach, such as infants, children, or those with osteoporosis or other conditions where diversified adjustments might be unsuitable.
